THE FEEL

Pacific is dotted with creeks that run into the Meramac River, feeding beautiful green forests. This means that Pacific tends to draw residents who want a more secluded feel, or who appreciate natural beauty. There are modern residential developments spread out in the city, and plenty of acreage available to build your own house.

HISTORY

On one of the largest stretches of Old Route 66, Pacific history spans just as long. Originally named the Town of Franklin, the name was changed in 1859 to Pacific in honor of the Pacific Railroad, which started construction in this town.

ACCESSIBILITY

Resting alongside Interstate 44, the city of St. Louis is a mere 30-minute drive, as well as accessible to other major metropolitan neighborhoods.

CULTURE

Pacific offers a relaxed pace of county living. In the heart of outdoor attractions, nature lovers will enjoy living in the area, but is also in close proximity to more metropolitan areas.  

ENTERTAINMENT

Residents take full advantage of the surrounding nature. Nearby recreational activities include the Shaw Nature Reserve in Gray Summit, Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka, and the Pacific Palisades Conservation Area, and Purina Farms Petting Zoo.

SCHOOLS

Pacific houses the Meramec Valley R-III School District. The neighborhood encompasses two counties, Franklin and Jefferson. Those of Jefferson County can attend Jefferson College at a discounted rate.

PARKS & REC

Pacific City Park | This family-friendly park includes, children’s playgrounds, pavilions, baseball fields, tennis courts, and a swimming pool.

Blackburn Park | A history that dates back to the Civil War, this park is located on Route 66 and has some of the best scenic views of the region.

Liberty Field | Located on 30 acres, Liberty Field offers a walking trail, equestrian arena, soccer fields, and a multi-use field.
